Haplophrentis reesei

Haplophrentis reesei was named by Babcock and Robison (1988) [= Hyolithes cecrops Walcott RESSER 1939, p. 7, pl. 1, figs. 36-38; pl. 5, fig. 9; GUNTHER and GUNTHER, 1981, pl. 64, figs. A-C
= Hyolithes sp. YOCHELSON, 1961, pl. 33, fig. 1.]. Its type specimen is KUMIP 204339, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Haplophrentis.
