Amalda arenaria

Taxonomy
Ancilla (Sparella) arenaria was named by Cossmann (1889). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aizy-Jouy (Cossmann collection), which is in a Ypresian marine sandstone in the Sables d'Aizy Formation of France.

It was recombined as Amalda arenaria by Jeffery and Tracey (1997) and Pacaud et al. (2013).
