Lapichiropteryx xiei
Taxonomy
Lapichiropteryx xiei was named by Tong (1997). Its type specimen is IVPP V10204, a partial skull (Mandibles, maxillae and teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Heti Formation Locality 1, which is in a Sharamurunian channel marl/sandstone in the Heti Formation of China. It is the type species of Lapichiropteryx.
