Taxonomy
Akera pseudodesioi was named by Eames (1952). Its type specimen is BMNH G.68418, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fossil Bed F.1903, Rakhi Nala, which is in a Lutetian carbonate limestone in the Drug Formation of Pakistan.
