Taxonomy
Calvapilosa kroegeri was named by Vinther et al. (2017). Its type specimen is YPM 237255 and is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Bou Zorgan, which is in a Tremadoc marine shale in the Lower Fezouata Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Calvapilosa.
