Picardiceras picardi

Taxonomy
Picardiceras picardi was named by Parnes (1986). Its type specimen is GSI-M-7960a and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Makhtesh Ramon (Saharonim Fm., upper Fossiliferous Limestone Mb.), which is in a Fassanian carbonate limestone in the Saharonim Formation of Israel. It is the type species of Picardiceras.
