Eotalpa anglica

Taxonomy
Eotalpa anglica was named by Sigé et al. (1977). Its type specimen is MIWG.5503, a tooth (Right M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Headon Hill HH2, Lower Headon Beds, Isle of Wight, which is in an Eocene marine claystone/claystone in the Lower Headon Beds Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Eotalpa.
