Taxonomy
Paraceratites (Paraceratitoides) brotzeni was named by Parnes (1975). It is not extant. Its type specimen is GSI-M-5766a. It is the type species of Paraceratitoides.

It was recombined as Paraceratitoides brotzeni by Pérez Valera (2005).
