Taieritermes krishnai

Taxonomy
Taieritermes krishnai was named by Engel and Kaulfuss (2016). Its type specimen is OU 45540, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Foulden Hills maar (I43/f8503), which is in an Aquitanian crater lake diatomite in the Foulden Hills Diatomite Formation of New Zealand. It is the type species of Taieritermes.
