Kaupitherium gruelli

Taxonomy
Kaupitherium gruelli was named by Voss and Hampe (2017). Its type specimen is BSPG 1956 I 540, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Eckelsheim, which is in a Rupelian marine sandstone in the Alzey Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Kaupitherium.
