Taxonomy
Diplograptus (Glyptograptus) euglyphus angustus was named by Perner (1895). Its type specimen is NM L27552 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Climacograptus angustus by Přibyl (1949) and Bjerreskov (1975); it was recombined as Scalarigraptus angustus by Riva (1988); it was recombined as Normalograptus angustus by Koren and Melchin (2000) and Pålsson (2002).
