Taxonomy
Siphoniulus preciosus was named by Liu et al. (2017). Its type specimen is ZFMK MYR 5543 and is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (ZFMK coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
