Protovespa haxairei

Taxonomy
Protovespa haxairei was named by Perrard and Carpenter (2017). Its type specimen is AMNH JZC-Bu1837, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (Zigras coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Protovespa.
