Taxonomy
Dilar cretaceus was named by Liu and Zhang (2016). Its type specimen is EMTG BU-001748, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (EMTG collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
