Taxonomy
Ermoceras (Telermoceras) coronatiforme was named by Arkell (1952). Its type specimen is SM F10698, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 68, Khashm Mawan (Aramco S-1630), which is in a Bajocian carbonate limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.
