Dissacus progressus
Taxonomy
Dissacus progressus was named by Crusafont-Pairo and Golpe-Posse (1968). Its type specimen is IPS-65, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Corsà II, which is in a MP 10 terrestrial horizon in Spain.

It differs from D. europaeus, D. raslanloubatieri, and D. rougierae by the presence of a well-developed entoconid on p4, and its larger size. It differs from Dissacus filholi by its larger size (73%). |
