Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
F. Solé et al. 2018Dissacus raslanloubatieri differs from D. europaeus and D. rougierae by a longer and wider talonid on p4, m1, and m2 (the talonid represents almost 50% of the tooth length). Dissacus raslanloubatieri also differs from D. europaeus by more crowded teeth, the development of deep reentrant grooves, base of the toothrow convex ventrally in lateral view, a more devel- oped entoconid on p3, p4, m1, and m2, a relatively shorter m3, and reduction of the paraconid, metaconid, and talonid of the m3. Dissacus raslanloubatieri differs rom D. filholi, with which it is close in size, and D. blayaci by higher protoconids on the molars, less developed entoconids on the talonids of p4 and the molars, and less developed exodaenodonty. It differs from D. europaeus and D. rougierae by more developed exodaenodonty.
