It was recombined as Tetraphalerella costellata by Pope (1982).

Posterior region of dorsal valve with a shallow short sulcus; posterior region of ventral valve with a low short fold. Pseudodeltidium arched, slightly carinate. Parvicostellae very fine, very uniform.
