Taxonomy
Barrandella kindlei was named by Northrop (1939). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Northrop Locality 004. La Vieille, shales west of Anse Cascon, which is in a Telychian marine shale in the La Vieille Formation of Canada.
