G. Young and J. Noble 1987A species of Syringopora with tabularium diameter, corallite spacing, spacing of tabulae, and wall thickness as in Table 5. Corallites subcircular or teardrop-shaped in transverse section. Corallites geniculate, contacts very frequent, occur through short, broad transverse stolons or by the bending together of neighboring corallites. Septal spines slender. Tabulae strongly infundibuliform, thin, irregular, complete or incomplete.
