Dictyophara vishneviensis
Taxonomy
Chanithus vishneviensis was named by Becker-Migdisova (1964). Its type specimen is PIN 254/2291, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Vishnevaya Balka creek, outcrop 4, Stavropol (PIN collection 254), which is in a Miocene lacustrine shale in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Dictyophara vishneviensis by Szwedo et al. (2004).
