Originally described as Spathognathodus inclinatus inflatus but subsequently used in the rank of species

Taxonomy
Spathognathodus inflatus was named by Walliser (1964). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Ozarkodina inflata by Slavik (2014); it was recombined as Wurmiella inflata by Murphy et al. (2004) and Bremer et al. (2019).
