Prosopon aequilatum was named by Von Meyer (1860). It is not extant.
It was recombined as Pithonoton aequilatum by Collins (1985) and Schweitzer et al. (2010); it was recombined as Eodromites aequilatus by Schweigert and Koppka (2011).
