Mesosmicrips cretacea
Taxonomy
Smicrips cretacea was named by Cai and Huang (2016). Its type specimen is NIGP 163547, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Mesosmicrips.
It was recombined as Mesosmicrips cretacea by Kirejtshuk (2017).
