Murgonemys braithwaitei

Taxonomy
Murgonemys braithwaitei was named by White (2001). Its type specimen is QM F41129, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tingamarra Local Fauna - Boat Mountain deposit, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine claystone/sandstone in Australia. It is the type species of Murgonemys.
