Bannikovichthys paelignus

Bannikovichthys paelignus was named by Carnevale (2007). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is MSNTC PEL 053, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Torricella Peligna, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in Italy.
