Frigosorbinia baldwinae

Taxonomy
Pesciarichthys baldwinae was named by Sorbini and Tyler (1998). Its type specimen is MCSNV I.G. 24490, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Monte Bolca, Pesciara (FMNH collection), which is in a Ypresian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Italy.

It was recombined as Frigosorbinia baldwinae by Bannikov and Tyler (2012), Carnevale et al. (2014) and Bannikov (2014).
