Taxonomy
Akmilleria parahuecoensis was named by Zhou (2017). Its type specimen is NIGP 93688, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mading locality, which is in an Artinskian basinal (siliciclastic) claystone in the Sidazhai Formation of China.
