Taxonomy
Agerinia marandati was named by Femenias-Gual et al. (2017). Its type specimen is ICP IPS-82801, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Masia de l'Hereuet, which is in a Ypresian fluvial claystone/sandstone in the Corca Formation of Spain.
