Parasyrinx kincaidi
Taxonomy
Turris kincaidi was named by Weaver (1916). Its type specimen is CAS 470, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Galvin Station, which is in a Chattian offshore sandstone in the Lincoln Creek Formation of Washington.
It was recombined as Turricula kincaidi by Tegland (1933); it was recombined as Parasyrinx kincaidi by Hickman (1976); it was recombined as Spirotropis kincaidi by Grant, IV and Gale (1931) and Moore (1976).
