Taxonomy
Acteocina chehalisensis was named by Weaver (1916). Its type specimen is CAS 474, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Acteon chehalisensis by Weaver (1942), Durham (1944) and Moore (1976).
