Taxonomy
Solen eugenensis was named by Clark (1925). Its type specimen is UCMP 30338, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Solena eugenensis by Weaver (1942); it was recombined as Solena (Eosolen) eugenensis by Moore (1976).
