Hypsocormus is a genus. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Hypsocorminae.
It was assigned to Pachycormidae by Woodward (1895); to Pachycormiformes by Rayner (1948) and Sepkoski (2002); and to Hypsocorminae by Cooper et al. (2022).
