Rastodon procurvidens

Taxonomy
Rastodon procurvidens was named by Boos et al. (2016). Its type specimen is UNIPAMPA PV317P, a partial skeleton (almost complete skull with attached lower jaws and unprepared postcranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boqueirão farm, Catuçaba, which is in a Wordian/Capitanian terrestrial sandstone in the Rio do Rasto Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Rastodon.
