Phalacroma dubium was named by Whitehouse (1936). It is not extant. It is the type species of Pseudophalacroma.
It was recombined as Lejopyge dubium by Robison (1984); it was recombined as Pseudophalacroma dubium by Peng and Robison (2000) and Naimark and Pegel (2017).
