Taxonomy

Haasproetus was named by Baase (2007).

It was assigned to Cyrtosymbolinae by Basse and Lemke (2020).

Synonyms

Haasia was named by Yuan (1988) [non Bollman, 1893, a millipede. Sepkoski's age data: D Fame-u Sepkoski's reference number: 802]. It is not extant.

It was replaced with Yuanjia by Özdikmen (2009); it was replaced with Haasproetus by Basse and Lemke (2020).

It was assigned to Proetida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Proetidae by Jell and Adrain (2002).
Yuanjia was named by Özdikmen (2009). It is not extant.

It was synonymized objectively with Haasproetus by Lemke (2020).

It was assigned to Proetidae by Özdikmen (2009).
