Orthakrolophos bittneri
Taxonomy
Palaeograpsus bittneri was named by Morris and Collins (1991). Its type specimen is BMNH In 61987, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tutong Road, S.5538, which is in a Miocene marine sandstone in the Miri Formation of Brunei Darussalam.
It was recombined as Orthakrolophus bittneri by Collins et al. (2003); it was recombined as Orthakrolophos bittneri by Schweitzer and Feldmann (2001) and Schweitzer et al. (2010).
