Taxonomy
Hospes clonograpti was named by Stubblefield and Bulman (1927). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shineton (Sheinton), which is in a Cressagian offshore shale in the Shineton Shales Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Hospes, Indiligens.

It was recombined as Indiligens clonograpti by Özdikmen (2009).
