Taxonomy
Glyptorhynchus sulcatus was named by Casier (1946). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Forest, which is in a Ypresian marine claystone in the Argile des Flandres Formation of Belgium.

It was recombined as Aglyptorhynchus sulcatus by Casier (1966).
