Cordatomyonia umangoensis

Taxonomy
Cordatomyonia umangoensis was named by Benedetto (1995). Its type specimen is CEGH-UNC 7309., a valve (internal mould of dorsal valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Seccion del Cerro Agua de Felipe. Layer 3, which is in a Rhuddanian marine sandstone/shale in the La Chilca Formation of Argentina.
