Eostropheodonta chilcaensis
Taxonomy
Aphanomena chilcaensis was named by Benedetto (1995). Its type specimen is CEGH-UNC 7228, a valve (in), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Seccion del Cerro Agua de Felipe. Layer 2, which is in a Rhuddanian marine sandstone/shale in the La Chilca Formation of Argentina.
It was recombined as Eostropheodonta chilcaensis by Benedetto and Montoya (2015).
