Taxonomy
Heterorthella tondonensis was named by Racheboeuf and Villeneuve (1992). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Brachiopods of Gambaya Sandstone, Bove Basin, which is in a Ludlow marine sandstone in the Bambaya Sandstone Formation of Guinea.
