Dedzetina silurica was named by Racheboeuf and Villeneuve (1992) [? Dedzetina silurica]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Brachiopods of the Los Espejos Formation, Wenlockian Part, which is in a Wenlock marine mudstone/sandstone in the Los Espejos Formation of Argentina.
