Sphaerocantharis sibirica
Taxonomy
Microcarpoides sibiricus was named by Ponomarenko (1990). Its type specimen is PIN 3063/192, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daya locality (PIN collection 3063), which is in a Tithonian terrestrial horizon in the Glushkovo Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Sphaerocantharis sibirica by Fanti (2017).
