Taxonomy
Kajnaria rugosa was named by Popov et al. (2002). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Anderkenyn-Akchoku, Chu-Ili Range, sample 628, which is in a Caradoc reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Anderken Formation of Kazakhstan.
