Taxonomy
Protohesperonomia resupinata was named by Williams and Curry (1985). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is banks of un-named stream, 2km south-west of Srah Bridge, which is in a Castlemainian/Yapeenian carbonate limestone in the Tourmakeady Formation of Ireland.
