Taxonomy
Biseptata briani was named by Madison (2013). Its type specimen is PIN, 4921/587, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bed 10. Lynna River, which is in a Kunda marine claystone in the Lynna Formation of the Russian Federation.
