Taxonomy
Ujukites tarlykensis was named by Andreev (1985). Its type specimen is TsNIGMRmuzey 78/11865 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tarlyk Creek, which is in a Darriwilian carbonate horizon in the Tarlyk Formation of the Russian Federation.
