Ganolytes clepsydra

Taxonomy
Ganolytes clepsydra was named by Jordan and Gilbert (1919). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Modena, which is in a Miocene marine shale in the Monterey Formation of California.

It was recombined as Ganoessus clepsydra by Jordan and Gilbert (1920), Jordan (1921), Jordan (1925), David (1943) and Fierstine et al. (2012).
