Lygisma tenax

Taxonomy
Lygisma tenax was named by Jordan and Gilbert (1919). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Modena, which is in a Miocene marine shale in the Monterey Formation of California.

It was synonymized subjectively with Bathylagus (Quaesita) angelensis by David (1943).
